Maybelline The Eraser - help!

In an effort to try to get used to wearing facepaint, and seduced by the cute spongy thing and the packaging, I bought one of these.

How do you get the goo to come out of the bottle onto the sponge? I've tried twisting the red collar thing, but nothing happens. Is there a seal somewhere I am supposed to break?

Or am I just doomed to look blotchy and wrinkly forever?

I got some today, was twisting the cap a lot before any came out. I like it a lot, v similar to my By Terry which costs about 4 times as much.

Just keep twisting it!

Thanks Verity - I'll keep trying - I've done about twelve clicks so far with no effect.

I've been being cautious because I read a review (something I've never done before!) and the author said she clicked four times and too much came out. I had visions of ivory coloured paint all over the carpet!

God no, I was twisting it round and round for ages then the fluffy bit started to change colour, can't imagine it gushing everywhere Smile

Thanks - 45 year old foundation virgin here!

Really Shock I hope you like it. I've tried a fair few foundations in my time and think it's pretty good. Did you get the primer stuff to go under it? I didn't as I have a L'oreal primer on the go at the moment, but primers can make all the difference so might be worth investing in. Let me know what you think of it Smile

Hardandsleazy · 12/02/2011 12:02

Really like it(also took more than 4 clicks to work)- cover is great without being heavy.

Hardandsleazy · 12/02/2011 12:03

Verity will check out primer now- I also Like mayine dreamy creamy foundation which oddly seems heavier than eraser (still very nice)

I am a make up slut. I saw the ad's but was unconvinced by the microphone applaicator.
