I imagine it looks better on, did you go for the navy ? I'd wear red shoes and bag to lift it personally.

Yes, it needs something to make it a bit less severe. It is nice, though - very elegant.

AintMissBeehiving · 11/02/2011 20:19

Nice dress - quite conservative though so I would wear something like this on my feet

CeliaFate · 11/02/2011 20:22

It is nice, but needs accessories to lift it. I'd go for something like these shoes and this to brighten it a bit.

Celia - I absolutely love those shoes! Never thought about that colour - I was thinking tan/brown shoes. I did go for the navy dress - elegant is the look I am going for!

It says on the page about wearing a belt with it - do you think that would work? I am 5'9" and have boobs and hips!

It is tres elegant. I think its also a bit sober and would definitely go for a belt and other accessories (earrings beads/necklace etc).

Those shoes are gorgeous imo :)

tethersend · 11/02/2011 21:03

LOVE the dress. Would wear tan shoes with it- something like this, this or this

pointydog · 11/02/2011 21:11

Great dress.

I like these and as I'm not keen on navy, I like the thought of softening it with pale pink

CeliaFate · 11/02/2011 21:27

I think a belt would look good - very "Mad Men" style.
