Skirt ending mid-thigh.

Bought two dresses recently. Adore them both.

The thing is, they both end mid-thigh. Not mini-skirts by any means but generally I'm used to skirts hitting my knee.

One of them I wear with leggings and feel fine wearing (ie not self concious) but the other one needs tights, legging just wouldn't suit the style of the dress.

I've bought some very thick wooly tights which pick out the grey in the dress. Do you think that would be okay?

My legs are pretty good. I'm a size 12/14. I'm also 29 and wondering if I'm just too old to be wearing shorter skirts.

Any opinions? Wondering if I should buy some grey leggings and just see how it goes.

You're definitely not too old, and if your legs are good you should be fine.

Just don't get self conscious and start pulling at your skirt - short skirts need to be worn with confidence!

Mid-thigh at 29!!!!

My mother would be horrified, I wear them at 40. Good boots/shoes definitely required.

Heels will make your legs look even better. You're definitely not too old, though. I'm 33 and told I have good legs and frequently wear minis.
