Does anyone know of a similar but less pricey one? Must be the same length (I'm 5'10) and most others I've seen appear to be above the knee.

Perhaps I just need to bite the bullet and buy it - cost per wear should be quite favourable anyway!

wait for the sale. it is bound to b ein the sale. have you tried on? prob. worth splashing out as it is something you could wear for a few years.

No, I haven't tried it on so it may well look crap anyway.
Button-throughs can gape horribly so I'll probabaly need a size 12 judging by the width of the ASOS model.
Will ponder a bit more and maybe give it a go.

It's a midi length - all the rage apparently! I didn't try White Stuff in my web surfing so will do that now.

I like that length-looks good with woodeny platform sandals

I've got some neutral clog sandals from last year so thought they'd pair up well for that 70s vibe.

Yep, looks similar to the Havana Harbour denim skirt in White Stuff. I'm 5'10" and it's knee length on me.

gap have one that is very similar, but might be shorter than you'd like.

Marks and Spencer have very similar (button through but slightly more pencil-ly than A line)£25. Bargain. I've worn mine almost constantly.
