I am rubbish at picking nail polish colours. I have loads and most look awful on me. Help me pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeeee.

I just want a colour suggestion really that suits everyone so I can paint my nails now. I need cheering up .

oh, I see. I only wear neutrals as all the dark colours just look wrong on me whatever shade I try. Perhaps you are the same!

'Pall Mall' from Nails Inc is lovely, if a bit pinkish.
Muted mushroom is quite nice too.

I have bright red on atm.

I love a very dark brown too, or black or navy.

Pale pink looks lovely on most epople with fair skin.

Orangy red for carribean tones, and a bluey red for arabian tones.

I don't like to stray too far from red and pink, to be honest. Brown looks like poo on a lot of people. blue/green/yellow is for the under 20s IMVHO

I live in black, navy, grey and the odd bit of pink/purple.

I am very fair and currently wearing a darkish red.

Have you tried playing with the OPI try on this colour thing? link you can adjust the skin tone and nail length to be as close to you as possible, play around and see what sort of colours suit.

I always like Rimmel nail polish, Fab. The black and the navy look really nice and go on really easily.

I love doing my nails, I have a nail box the size of a small suitcase with polish, various files, oils, creams and numerous nail gadgets in.......

I stopped buying Rimmel years ago, too to tell you why but maybe I should take a look.

I'm wearing boots no17 caribbean coral, at the mo, its a lovely orangy red. Had a few compliments on it too! I'm quite fair btw

Essie Chinchilly - a grey that's perfect with navy, black, teal, taupe, and of course grey.

Nail's Inc - Thames. A really beautiful shade of grey.

I must have asked about nail polishes before as I had made a note of Rimmel 60 seconds in Ethereal. I will paint them later once I have eaten.

I have quite dark olive hands and really like dark colours on me - brown, grey, black, dark purple etc. Light pink and other light/neutral colours make my fingers look grubby. my favourite is chanel particuliere (a light-ish brown). i wear alot of Essie at the moment (chanel a bit pricey really!), but find that it does chip.

I have quite small hands and pink pearly colours look awful on me so does that French manicure peach.

I painted my nails last night, dh likes them but I think the colour looks a bit cheap.

I don't think nail varnish suits or doesn't suit, not like makeup, just pick a colour you like.

I have Rimmel Pro in White Orchid on right now, it's a sort of oystery mother-of-pearl type colour.
