Anyone else get dry skin from Laura Mercier?

I love her silk creme, and the powder is about the only one I can wear. Almost all other make up gives me teenagey breakouts...

However, even though I have oily skin, my face is like a desert with this.

Part of me likes the change, tbh, and I can easily moisturise.

Anyone else experience this?

No - not desert face and my skin is quite oily too. I like the tinted moisturiser because a teeny bit goes a long way and it feels less 'cakey' than foundation.

What's the silk creme you mention?

It's one of the foundations. Very nice stuff. You'd barely know you were wearing anything and I chose it because most tinted moisturiser just makes my face glisten.
