Lack of Boys Clothes

Am I the only one extremely fed up with the lack of boys clothes?

It seems that most clothes shops have rails and rails of pink girls clothes and just a very small selection of boys clothes. That's if you are lucky as I've seen some children's shops with no boys clothes at all

I've decided that something needed to be done so I'm selling just boys clothes on Ebay

As I am starting out I would love some suggestions/feedback as to what kind of range to get and what clothes appeal to people.

I want to keep the prices low as I don't know about everyone else but money is a bit tight and children's clothes seem really expensive. Especially when you think that you don't pay VAT and the amount of material you get is very small!

Please click on link as I would love some ideas from you guys!

Hi

My request would be for "normal" clothes, not ones with silly slogans on them or following trends such as skater stuff which are horribly baggy on small boys.

Also, please some clothes which fit those children who are NOT part of the obesity statistics!

My DS looks awful in all jeans except the Next Skinny jeans for boys. They are not drainpipes, but just right on him. He has trouble keeping anything else up as they are always way too big in the waist.

Unfortunately, Next only do one style in the skinnies, so DS has 4 pairs exactly the same! And he's gone through the knees in all of them, so something indestructible would be good too...

hi i think there is a fab choice for boys tbh if you know where to look.

the thing is boys just don't wear as many different 'types' of clothes as girls, whereas they have dresses, skirts, leggings, trousers, jeans, culottes, hotpants etc etc. Boys are limited to trousers/jeans and shorts only

i prefer quite trendy clothes for my boys i like them in quite snug fits, the scandinavian brands my favourite. I don't like sludgy colours and they don't wear alot of blue. I like them bright and vibrant suits them and their personalities.

fave shops being toby tiger, bob & blossom, katvig, John Lewis, Boden, Next some mini mode and M&S too.

oh forgot No Added Sugar too!!

I second nicolamumof3. All the scandinavian brands are fantastic. They are colourful and long lasting. DS has some excellent jeans from Duffer (skinny type and great quality). John Lewis is good for the 2 yr old - I've found some lovely dungarees in there. The odd bit of Boden too - especially their PJs - but equally there are some good ones in Sainsbos too. I get quite a lot of coats and fleeces from Polarn o Pyret but wish they had an on line outlet.

I can't stand any camo / sludge / grey / blue dullsville stuff. Also things which are meant for teens but just sized down for toddlers - especially hoodies - uggh!

Until recently I bought a lot of my stuff from a site called Hedgepig but it seems to have gone bust :(

i like zara for boys, alot for their summer stuff is nice and bright. Next has got better, and pumpkin patch is ok sometimes too. Also been quite impressed with m&s recently

colours other than blue! basics that you can mix and match rather than 'outfits' iyswim. i like H&M for these reasons....

love h&m too! got some gorgeous organic cotton close fitting thick cotton l/s tops striped, lovely £4.99

I've got 2 boys, aged 4 and 2 and have to say I have never had to worry about not being able to find clothes for them. They both have full wardrobes, and mainly from the high street stores
