I have a BBH. India Knight swears it works on curly hair. Anyone had experience?

Yes, it's brilliant

bettydoc · 14/02/2011 19:16

Yes, I actually can't quite believe it

Do you normally get your hair dried straighht whe nyou go to hairdressers? Usually that is the only time when i can get lovely smooth glossy hair. Anyway, since i bought the bbh i have been able to dry my hair perfectly at home! And i am someone who is so crap at drying my hair that i didn't even own a hairdryer fr most of the last decade.

but can it do wavy hair? i have fine curls and if it were totally straight even if biggened would make me look pea head sized. i have sml bonce and broad shoulders.

would love to know if middling sleek is possible.

Cristiane · 14/02/2011 19:47

Well, middling sleek is definitely possible! I would say that as long as a hairdresser has managed to make your hair nice by blow drying it then you can with the bbh

Have you not seen all the other threads? We are all RAVING about it!

I don't get mine dead straight (mine is a shoulder length long layers mix of ringletty curls and wavy bits), but it does loosen the tighter curls out to big bouncy swishy ends.

I think the overall effect depends on how long your layers are if any, and how long you dry it for, I could probably get mine straighter if I wanted to. Middling sleek would be quite a good description, mine ends up straightish over my head with bouncy swishy ends sort of round my neck / sitting on my shoulders.

I have curly hair. Was hoping the BBH would create shoft waves but it doesn't (or I can't get it to anyway). It does straighten my hair in an instant though with wavy/flicky out bits at the ends. I still wear my hair curly/wavy most days though the BBH is a godsend for when I quickly want to wear a different look.
