Long sleeved tops for long armed people

I am looking for some plain long sleeved tops for layering under dresses etc. I'm normally a size 12, but am finding if I buy size 12 tops the sleeves are not quite long enough (somewhere between 3/4 length and full length) and I spend all my time yanking them up. If I go a size up (so a 14) the sleeves are fine, but the top is not then fitted enough to be used as a layering item.

I'm not excessively tall (5'8) and I don't think my arms are abnormally long ... Can any other "long armed" people point me in the direction of tops that work for them ...?

(I also have the same problem with cardigans, so any ideas there also gratefully received!)

5'10" here with pretty long arms and I have some long sleeved scoop necked cotton ts from (sssh!) Next, which I find good - and long enough - for layering. I have a variety of colours: black, white, grey, blue, green, red.

Gap ts are also usually long enough for me and, last week, I got one from Fat Face, which is nice and long, too.

For cardys, again, Gap are usually good. Also Jigsaw.

I have some long sleeved tops from New Look and find their sleeves come halfway down my hands.

They're longer too, so you don't get 'tummy draft'.

Oh, also the Isabella Oliver long-sleeved tops are a great length.

Uniqulo plain long sleeve tees are great.

surprisingly Abercrombie do great ones, very good quality and cosy and a good range of colours.
