What colour with navy tops?

I've recently bought a couple of navy tops/tunics. What colour could I wear with them for work? I can't do navy/black. Also what about shoes/boots/tights witha navy shortish dress?

I'd go for other shades of blue with tenny amounts of turquoise or green.

That blue marl/denimy colour would look nice.

I'd personally wear black boots or shoes with a navy dress with blue tights. If the dress is plain find tights with some kind of pattern or texture.

I wear lots of navy and team it with:

magenta
teal
brown
charcoal grey
purple
cream
white

camel/cream/silver grey/charcoal grey/white are safest options I reckon

I recently wore black opaques and black shoe boots with a navy dress and it looked great imo

Shocking pink is great with navy.

I wear aubergine coloured tights with a Navy dress for work and Navy shoes.

I also wear navy tights and bright pinky/ purply sued shoes.

Camel colour goes best with navy/ Dark purple imo

It is apparently very fashionable at the moment to mix navy and black. I am off out of friday and will be wearing a navy dress with black opaques and black heels.

But if you don't like, try

teal
purple
bright pink
mustard

You can put almost anything with navy.

I'd want to be very sure, if going for grey and navy, that it wasn't reminiscent of a school uniform though. The camel/cream options would look most serious/trad business style; brights look wonderful, but what's your workplace like?

I'm a supply teacher (primary) working in a couple of schools only, so depends a little whether I'm in with little ones how bright I go! I obviously need to be able to sit on the floor etc modestly!

I bought some opaques in different colours today and will look out for some camel trousers for work - our local town's a bit limited!

Thanks for all the ideas. Will have fun experimenting.
