Spanx and sausage thighs....can it work??

I have some of the shorts ones, but not the Spanx brand. I don't wear mine as they give me the muffin effect on my thighs as they are like sausages!

Obviously this shows through jeans (my staple wardrobe!). Does anyone else have this issue and have found some shorts ones that don't cut in like this?

I've just bought the Super Higher Power pants from Magic knicker company & they have mesh-type thigh bits so they don't suck you in & therefore don't muffin you out - they smooth your VPL.

Agree, the spanx higher power don't cause this (and I have HUGE thighs!) - they're quite long which I think helps.

Do they do anything for your bum though?

My bum is OK-ish (my one area of OK-ish-ness!!) but they certainly firmed my butt & made it feel higher. I've never ever used spanx before today but I have a big event on sunday & need all the help I can get (winter love affair with carbs you see)...and I'm sooo impressed. The magic knicker place sends them recorded in 24hrs & has 20% off so I was a happy bunny. I felt all toned in them which was so nice! They look hideous on though - like Bridget Jones knickers on acid

They definitely lift your bum, and smooth everything out - very useful under lightweight skirts or satin as they hide any dimples!

Brilliant! I'm going to get these ones then. I'm trying to end my winter love affair with carbs!!
