I'm not that tall (5ft 8 and a bit) but I am yet to buy a pair of full length leggings which are actually full length! Can anyone recommend some please?

Next and New Look and Dorothy Perkins do extra long/tall ones.

I had some good, but expensive ones from long tall sally.

If you want something cosy and don't mind a slight sheen the M&S cosy fleece lined legging/footless tights are nice and came up very long on me. I bought the large size, I'm 5'6" and a size 12 and there was definitely a good couple of inches left in the length so I'd say they were about a 32" leg.

topshop tall
h and m

CuppaTeaJanice · 09/02/2011 09:58

La Redoute.

I'm 5'9" and they are too long for me!!

PollyMorfic · 09/02/2011 10:00

H&M
Long Tall SAlly
Sweaty Betty (spensive tho)

peanutsmuggler · 09/02/2011 10:01

Topshop, I'm 5'7" and they are plenty long enough.

They last forever as well without fading or going thin or getting holey.

Monstermuncher · 09/02/2011 10:03

I'm 5'11 and I just got some from next (they do a 'tall' size). Absolutely brilliant and only £8, I'm going to buy some more ..

aquavit · 09/02/2011 10:16

Yes to the tall ranges in Topshop, Next etc for length, but I've found them a bit inconsistent in quality.

American Apparel leggings are the absolute business and also plenty long enough.

apple99 · 09/02/2011 10:58

Gap leggings are full length on me and I am 5'8.

controlpantsandgladrags · 09/02/2011 11:07

Thanks everyone......hopefully my ankles shall feel the draft no more Grin

I'm 5ft11 and am wearing American Apparel ones. I have 4 pairs from there. They do a fantastic winter jersey legging, which is very thick and warm. The thinner ones are good too, but do tend to be a bit baggy around the knee by the end of the day.

ladylush · 09/02/2011 19:11

Elsy - what size are you and what size did you buy? Am going to buy some from AA but don't know what size to buy. I'm a 12-14 and 5ft 10

TheAllNewOoooh · 09/02/2011 22:00

Surely Isabella Oliver? Everything I have ever bought from there is at least a foot too long for me (including their leggings). They designs for Amazons like you!

potplant · 09/02/2011 22:07

American apparel every time they are the business

bristolcities · 09/02/2011 23:18

Im 5ft11 and always suffer from ankle skimmers so thank you. Love American apparel any way so will give the leggings ago.

Amieesmum · 09/02/2011 23:55

I'm 5'11/ 6ft depending on who measures me, with stupidly stupidly long legs (like nearly 40 inches) I find long tall Sally's the best :D tho pricey

Northumberlandlass · 10/02/2011 07:59

Am 6ft - don't want to spend a fortune on leggings, I get them in New Look, Tall bit.

aquavit · 10/02/2011 12:52

ladylush I am a size 16 and 5'10 and I got the Large from American Apparel, so I think you'd be right in a medium.

Elsy is right the winter legging from AA is gorgeous, so thick and warm, but I must admit I don't find that the other ones bag at the knees on me either.

lololizzy · 10/02/2011 17:21

I have a nightmare with this as 5 ft 10 and all legs..i did like Long Tall Sally but they do not last. Recently have discovered Punkyfish and although aimed at teenagers (and no tall wear) i've found their leggings great ..tried one pair, have just gone back and got two more! half price too. Can't get plain ones though..if you don't like embellished in some way (ie logo or studded) may not be suitable!
New Look tall never lasted on me, nor Topshop (went all thin v quickly)

ladylush · 11/02/2011 11:04

Thanks Aquavit Smile
