Crap, I should cancel shouldn't I? Appointment in 2 hours though

Supposed to be having a haircut in two hours and it's will be my first time someone other than me has hacked at me hair in two and a half years.

I have just discovered a couple of bloody buggery lice ( cheers) in my hair and am seriously freaked out by the thought of a hairdresser finding one and asking me to leave.

And the shame of this is that this humiliation will take place in the Sassoon Academy (cheap haircut/student/Metro voucher) and it will be a student Blush or teacher Blush Blush

I have combed and combed till my scalp is raw and the upshot of all this extra grooming is that my hair actually looks quite good (rocking a Chrissy Hynde kinda vibe) for the first time in two and a half years and I don't want a crappy "signature cut" that makes me look like Princess Diana.

Pleae help me decide and quick!

That is a very sensible response. Exactly the kind of answer I need. May have to phone back using another name though and just apologise profusely for cancelling at short notice, tell them about the headlice .

I just really don't want my next visit to be heralded by "You've got the Nitty Nora at half two, Sonia""

Reality, I have been doing that quite a lot, I'm just concerned I've missed one or two and my head is itching like buggery although I'm sure that's purely psychplogical.

My hairdresser would ask you to re schedule, I think you have to call them before you go and ask to be honest.

GhostInTheBackOfYourHead · 08/02/2011 11:59

ooops, psychological.

Well, I did cancel the appointment and rescheduled for 22nd.

I have more time to decide now if I want the Def Leppard look.

Drop Dead Fred - thank you for swift grown up response Smile

Reality Oh that has happened to me as well in the hairdressers (the ignominy) PLUS it happened when my parents tok her for a haircut on her annual week with them in summer holidays. That was particularly crap.

Madammecholet yes, you're right.
