I want my hair like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/default/files/styles/large/hash/f1/c5/f1c54bb699b49409ace5e486da3933a4_12.jpg&imgrefurl=www.examiner.com/one-tree-hill-in-national/shantel-vansanten-exclusive-the-shooting-will-affect-quinn-s-life-tremendously&usg=__JCaIHRNfWEcGvcfugK9QIVTJSKc=&h=170&w=210&sz=12&hl=en&start=56&zoom=1&tbnid=R_r-UBAJFjC-kM:&tbnh=135&tbnw=155&ei=BlZQTeDyO5G1hAeAnrHQDg&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dquinn%2Bone%2Btree%2Bhill%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26sa%3DX%26rls%3Den%26biw%3D1259%26bih%3D603%26tbs%3Disch:10%2C1541&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=689&oei=8VVQTYy8CpSxhAea2JWuDg&esq=4&page=4&ndsp=18&ved=1t:429,r:12,s:56&tx=83&ty=107&biw=1259&bih=603" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this

and this is me now.

Possible? I am naturally a mousey brown/dark blonde but currently have a demi permanent colour on every 5/6 weeks which I am slowly going lighter with. However, I am bloody impatient! I want it like the pic above NOW NOW NOW .

Anyone have any idea on whether or not it is possible and what they could/would do? Not overly keen on having hair stripped but would do if only option.

hi, yeh i do, im a hairdresser.

you must stop colouring it, do you do it yourself? please dont attempt to do this yourself.

you need a full head of highlights and toner. you will need to do this at least twice to get the result you want. it will have to be highlighted with bleach (as tint doesnt lighten tint) and then a toner put over the top.

it will affect the condition a bit so id advise you to have a bit cut off and invest in some decent home hair care.

be careful who you let do this, it could easily all go wrong.

are you in london? come and see me!! haha!

good luck.x

Is that actually you in the second pic? If so, will you be my friend? You look so lovely & smiley Grin

I'm not a hairdresser or an expert by any means, but it is possible. Last year my friend went from dark brown to peroxide blonde so I'm sure the colour you're aiming for is doable!

No idea what was used or how many attempts it took, but I know it wasn't overnight iyswim? and I'd definitely recommend going to a hairdressers for it.

Oh I always go to hairdresser, ever since I ruined bleached my own hair with Sun In when I was 13!

Ok, so it can be done. This is good, I thought it might be a total no no! I am in London, well, Surrey. I normally go to an independent nearby but happy to spend some money to get it perfect. Would it be at all possible to do it in one sitting? I heard about something called 3D blended highlights or similar - would that be any good?

Wow, dark to peroxide, that's hardcore! And of course I will be your friend (it is me).

Not sure about having any much cut off.
