  1. What is best for minimising appearance of pores -- Myabelline The Smoother or L'Oreal Studio Secrets Primer?
  1. Where sells an eyeliner that is basically like a powder finish? Its like using eye shadow but in pencil form. Body Shop used to sell them in the 90s. Much less harsh way of lining eyes.
  1. Is L'Oreal's Millionising mascara any good?
  1. Have dark hair, lashes and eyebrows, pale/medium tone skin and blue eyes. What is the best lip colour for moi?

Thanx oh wise ones!

Go to some make up counters- bobbi brown is great and so helpful if you want natural make up. They have some great gel eyeliner. A bit tricky to learn to apply but lovely effect.

  1. don't know about maybelline but l'oreal v good at it's job indeed
  2. I wish I knew. Barry m do big fat pencils but they are far too smudgy. Cosmetics a la carte do good eyeliners with a smudger bit which I love.especially the grey colour. But not sure about getting this brand
  3. yes it's got a nice big fat brush. I like it
  4. pinky neutral more pink than brown. Try bobbi brown or I was looking at some revlon lippies yesterday that looked good. You really need to try lipstick as skin tone and teeth makes a big difference. Hth etc

Powder eyeliner - use any eyeshadow with a flat slanted brush. Easy as pie and you can get more choice of colours.

Lips, well, it's hard to tell without seeing you face to face but I'd say coral tones would be nice or pinks which are more coral or peach toned than blue toned/purply pink.

I've heard not so favourable reviews of Millionize lashes but I've not used it myself. I like Max Factor False Lash Effect.

I used to use the Body Shop's powder eye pencils too. This is the nearest I've managed to get and I've been repeat buying it www.johnlewis.com/127230/Beauty.aspx?source=63258

Can't help with any of the questions but have you tried looking at the My Face stand in Boots, they have all the makeup arranged according to skin tone so you might find some inspiration there?

Clinique do nice eyeliners that are like a pencil at one end an eyeshadow at the other end.
