I can't see any difference. Nothing. Nada. Am I doing it wrong or is Mr/s Clarins sitting in their expensive office laughing at all of us?

It's shite! Does NOTHING on me, not a thing!

3timesalady · 07/02/2011 17:21

This adds fuel to my notion it's a big joke! Hmmmmm. Envy

I tried it once and haven't bothered again. Infact I left it so long in its tube it eventually had to be thrown away.

headfairy · 07/02/2011 17:24

Doesn't work for me either, you're much more likely to get a result if you splash very cold water on your face for a minute, then slap on some moisturiser.

cornsilk · 07/02/2011 17:24

It's great under foundation or tinted moisturiser

cyb · 07/02/2011 17:26

I love it

perks me right up

this divides Mn

brimfull · 07/02/2011 17:27

Goddess of makeup Lisa Eldridge says it's one of her favourites .
I was surprised .
Apparently it's all about how you put it on.

Finbar · 07/02/2011 17:27

I used the cheap substitute version from Superdrug today and two people cone that when I've used teh Clarins stuff -you be the judge!

cyb · 07/02/2011 17:28

yes you dont rub in but smooth on generously the slather foundation on top

sometimes your foundation might pill a bit if not compatible

cornsilk · 07/02/2011 17:28

you've got to put foundation straight on while it's still wet for best effect

cyb · 07/02/2011 17:29

you and me corny

we've always been LIKE THAT

frigadoon · 07/02/2011 17:29

eh?

frigadoon · 07/02/2011 17:30

the "eh?" was for finbar!

headfairy · 07/02/2011 17:30

well that's it then, I don't do it properly. I use mineral make up so I can't slap it on top of damp skin.

Finbar · 07/02/2011 17:31

'commented' not 'cone '( how the hell did that happen?!)

brimfull · 07/02/2011 17:33

still confused finbar
so people commented when you were wearing the clarins or the superdrug?
and good comments?

explain woman

HollyBollyBooBoo · 07/02/2011 18:01

Couldn't agree more, just don't see what it does. I've ended up using it as a face mask (slap loads on for 10 mins) just to use the tube up. Still don't think even that does anything.

SingingSands · 07/02/2011 18:03

I put it on overnight on any spots I feel coming on, works like a charm!

cornsilk · 07/02/2011 19:13

lol cyb Grin

BelligerentGhoul · 07/02/2011 19:17

I like it - I mix a tiny bit with a tiny bit of foundation and it seems to make my skin a bit more bright looking.

BitOfFun · 07/02/2011 19:22

I've got some four year old Mac strobe cream somewhere- does that do the same thing?

hattymattie · 07/02/2011 19:28

I think it makes my eye bags less baggy (or maybe it's just wishful thinking).

3timesalady · 07/02/2011 21:18

OK, as a Lisa Eldridge worshipper I'll try again tomorrow, will apply loads & hurriedly apply foundation a-top (with Countdown theme tune in my head).

But if no joy, that's it, Clarins! I'll designate you to handcream. So there.

its shit

their tingted moisturiser however is FAB, and not too costly either

lololizzy · 08/02/2011 01:33

dreadful. makes me go all red and stingy.
