Hmm can't decide if I look pleasantly curvy or like I'm just off showjumping...

Hmm. I have just tried on my jeans rolled up over my boots to a mid calf kind of length, more to keep my jeans out of puddles than anything else. But I'm not sure how this looks to everyone else! Thinking of going out like this but don't want to look a prat! I would wear my jeans, flat black sude boots and my fitted black cord jacket. But it has whispers of a showjumper. Is the hourglass figure a bad thing? My waist definately goes in and then back out, but possibly to the extent that my jeans look like jodhpurs Does this look sound stupid to you, or is it late and I'm just being paranoid?

Hey littlelamb. sounds ok, hard to picture, v. kate moss I think.

how is littl'n, eating going ok?

littlelamb · 12/10/2005 23:29

O wow thanks for remembering me! Not sure about the comparison with old KM though Eating is going fantastically. No matter how late we are running in the morning we both sit down to breakfast each morning, which is just lovely. She's a star She had her MMR today and was soo brave, I'm just incredibly loving being her mum at the moment, which is such a fantastic thing. Starting to have a few problems of my own again, but I'm trying not to let them get to me, though my jodpur comment may be testament to the fact I still have some issues Generally though I'm hopeful, just holding out for my student loan, which I stupidly forgot to apply for and have applied for hardship fund from the uni today. Its the financial worries that make me worse TBH, so I am trying to tackle them in a practical way, but I don't deal well with the uncertainty while I'm waiting

Thanks meggymoo. I may go out on a limb and say I think most things actually DO look better with some curves rather than being stick thin, but it's just a question of getting it right. I am not naturally blessed with any sense of style

Just as an afterthought, I DID go out like this today, and didn't feel at all prattish. And when I went to see my boyfriend the first thing he said was 'nice arse' so it's actually a really good look for those of us who are a bit, ahem, larger of buttock shall we say

Fab! And sweetie, tackle any problems that start coming up. You're a lovely woman and a lovely mother (with a lovely bottom) so you hang on in there. x

Perhaps you could put a photo on Member profiles then we can all say how nice you look.

littlelamb · 13/10/2005 22:14

Motherinferior thank you. I find it all too easy to pull the covers over my head and let my problems grow as a result AS for member profile, I've thought about it a couple of times, but I'm too embarassed plus I don't know how to add a picture anyway!

Thought we were getting a picture of you in your boots? Although you look very nice in the dress, it is hard to comment on the boots/trousers combo.

I tried the jeans tucked into boots busines at the tail end of last year and really wasn't sure, haven't plucked up the courage to try this year.

littlelamb · 13/10/2005 22:57

can't take a pic of myself Will try to do pic of the boots and said arse tomorrow
