Having no actual horse neatly solves the problem of fashion versus muck. Though all the girls in the Toast videos ride horses, in Spain usually, wearing silly kaftans and stuff.

So it must be possible.

Voiceofnoreason, I have ridden a motorbike with sparkly leggings on before. Not heels though, changing gear would be harder with heels on.

Also enjoy riding sans helmet and jacket, wearing just a cardi (and t shirt, jeans etc) but now I have kids I have to be more responsible

Ingrid - sparkly leggings count - sort of. And yes I know what you mean about the gear changes. Channeling the same thought...wasn't there an advert ages ago with loads of women in heels and pencil skirts doing road works whistling at builders walking down the street - or is my febrile imagination? Trying to imagine using a pneumatic drill at all - let alone in desperately inappropriate shoes! Hell - id give it a go....

Ingrid - I got them from my-wardrobe - its the black trailmasters. God quite a good discount - so paid £225 instead of just under £400 - have been coveting them for several years.
