... plus a big changing-bag-substitute that DH can also use, for days out - pref something I can hang over stroller handles. The handbag's just for my stuff plus a couple of nappies, drink & snack for DD1 and muslin for DD2.

what kind of price for the handbag?

FrenchSorciere · 12/10/2005 21:28

red direct always have nice handbags
do you like?

bran · 12/10/2005 21:32

I just bought one of these, I really like it but it's so practical that I fear every mother will have one before winter is over and I will look like a clone.

FrenchSorciere · 12/10/2005 21:37

that looks nice bran

franch, are you still around?
nice changing bags here

franch · 12/10/2005 21:38

That's a nice selection FS - some a bit pricey for me but I'll have a good look through them all. I'd probably have gone for yours in the past bran but cod's thread on the mum uniform has made me paranoid

Bloody hell...
those bags are really expensive... I could feed my family for a week instead of buying one of them.[tight emoticon]
get your self down to primark.. they do some really nice bags....

swedishmum · 12/10/2005 21:40

I really worry about bags looking as though they are just for babies. Got a fab one in Rome this summer - roomy, leather and so not mummy. Then I saw Nancy di Lallio (or whatever) had exactly the same one .
At least mine isn't lime green like hers.

franch · 12/10/2005 21:42

V nice changing bags FS - the bigger bag doesnt need to be a changing bag as such but the Skip Hop one looks excellent

I bought DH the Skip Hop for his birthday, cuz he thought it was SO cool.

FrenchSorciere · 12/10/2005 21:44

I like the Skip Hop too, sadly do not have any use for it.....

franch · 12/10/2005 21:44

FrenchSorciere · 12/10/2005 21:46

are you near Gap? the do nice accessories now

bran · 12/10/2005 21:47

Yes, I saw the mums' uniform thread just after I bought the bag, but I still like it. I think it looks a bit more young/studenty though because of the shape..

FrenchSorciere · 12/10/2005 21:53

OK, I have to go and watch Lost now, but one last thing: Next bags here

I rather liked a teal bag in peacocks that was ten or twelve quid... Next have a similar one but more costly (though obviously leather)
