I've been scouring the internet and think I've found every suitable website/dress out there, but would be curious to see if anyone else has been in this predicament and if so, what they wore?!

DD2 will hopefully be 8wks or so at the time.

There are silicone things called Lilypadz that are supposed to be invisible under clothes.

I have....DS was 3 months old. He wasn;t at the wedding, so fed him in the morning as usual, mum and dad brought him to be fed at lunchtime then he had expressed bottles after that. I took a pump to express in the evening to relieve the pressure! Bride let me use their suit to do this.

I wore a normal bridesmaid dress...and normal bra Grin

No, but I've been a breastfeeding bride though.

Elle McP fancy BF bra and a dress that had a v neck with a slight coss-over. A bit of a standard shape to fit the girls with hourglass figures vaguely like this.

Thanks all! Dd2 will be there, so am looking to be able to feed her, fairly frequently at that stage I would imagine! Like the cross over neckline, will broach with the bride!

yes, i was, but ds3 was 14 months, so he was fine most of the day and i changed afterwards and fed him

wouldn't do it with an 8 week old... need feeding far too often!

Caz10 · 07/02/2011 22:20

No choice! But is to be fairly relaxed wedding and bride knows I will be attached to lo most of day! I suppose better a bf bridesmaid than a crying baby!

Been through something similar and have two words for you: BREAST PADS!!! Hundreds of 'em! Good luck, sure you'll have a fabulous time Smile

I've been a BFing maid of honour, with 3-week-old DS2, it was no problem, I just wore a nursing bra and a dress that I could slip down the shoulder straps from. And yes lots of breast pads! Took car seat and DS2 slept in it most of the day. Have fun :)

Caz10 · 07/02/2011 22:29

Oooh goodness, visions of me squirting milk through teal satin or something equally horrific! Ok breastpads and a v-neck strappy type dress?! And hopefully a baby that sleeps more and feeds less than dd1 did at that age!

3 weeks wow that is impressive by the way!!

Oh, it was a piece of piss with a 3-week-old, no way would I take him now he's nearly 2 Grin

Caz10 · 07/02/2011 23:11

Yeah have to say I am more worried about what dd1 will get up to as a 3.5yr old flower girl and mum too busy feeding to supervise! Grin
