Flat front wide leg trousers

After years of trying unflattering trousers, I've decided that the most flattering (why kid myself, the only flattering) trouser style is wide leg flat front (ie zip is at the side, there are no pockets at the front). But where are they? Is there anybody but me who likes them -- or has anyone sighted any that they could recommend? I'd prefer any colour to black. [hopeful emoticon]

I will watch with interest, as I need some of these.

GeorginaWorsley · 06/02/2011 20:32

Marks and Spencerdo some I think.

CeliaFate · 06/02/2011 20:36

Next used to do them, I don't know if they still do.

CeliaFate · 06/02/2011 20:37

There are lots here

DuplicitousBitch · 06/02/2011 20:37

if you are feeling ambitious, they are fairly easy to make

niminypiminy · 06/02/2011 20:38

Nope, just checked, unless you mean the stretch jersey trousers -- and I'm not that desperate yet.

In the sale here and something a bit similar here

niminypiminy · 06/02/2011 20:42

CeliaFate I looked at those google ones but they are either stretch jersey (no, no) or have a front zip. It's the side zip that gives them such a good line. DuplicitousBitch I wish I was ambitious or competent enough to make a pair of tailored trousers, but I'm not.

CeliaFate · 06/02/2011 21:05

Have ordered the blue ones from Artigiano (thanks HelenBa*) -- very bargainous if they work!
