something better for the feet than Nike Mecurials

DS is on his third or fourth pair and I've dis liked all of them but haven't been aware of an alternative. Now I've decided to make it my business to find an alternative as they stink and they make his feet sweat horribly.
So, any ideas please?

DS wears them for football training on the astro, kick boxing warm up in the sports hall and, if he has his way, for Cubs, swimming etc too.

Geox are breathable trainers, they aren't cheap but are fab. Would they do for football?

thanks Sleep but DS says they are not suitable for football as they are too heavy/bulky. What I think he means is that are 'not cool'.
