what colour eyeliner for small blue eyes?

My eyes are small and blue, I really want to wear eyeliner but not sure what colour to go for? As I feel that using black will make my eyes look even smaller!

use liquid on your top lid and lots of mascara. I used to use black eyeliner, but as I've gotten older I think I look better without the bottom thick eyeliner

I use permaplum from Mac. There is also a nice YSL one that's burgundy (sounds minging but lovely on!). Also have a nice Mac grey one, think it's called slate.

Yes I use that mac grey one.

Am in awe of anyone who can use liquid eyeliner. Whenever I've tried it, I look like a 2 yr old has scribbled around my eyes. I don't know how you even get a half passable straight line with that stuff!

I use a dark slate gray kohl pen. Easy and it's amazing how much larger my eyes look after application. And nothing ever on the lower lid - it looks messy and tired.

A bronzy brown will bring out the blue. (That sounds like a tounge twister!) Something like MAC's Teddy eyeliner would be nice.

I use a liquid liner in a pale praline colour on the top lids (from tescos) its a shiny one and coz its pale, its easy to apply and just adds a shimmer to eyelids. And then i use Mac Tarnish - its a green black colour - on the bottom but a bit on the outer corners and then smudge in.

Obv i wear mascara too. :)

Use charcoal eye pencil on top 1/3 of eye and lower bit, meeting together slightly upwards on the edge.

I never use black either.

I have MAC Teddy and Corrupt (Urban Decay) - shimmery browns.
For evening I use MAC Phone book - (dark shimmery grey) or Prunella (dark purpley plum) or Urban Decay Rockstarr.

Clinique and Tesco have a nice grey/blue for daytime.

All the colour on the top lashes and very little on the bottom or a really fine line from a black/brown eyeliner pen to join up the lashes IYSWIM
