...and I bought:

pair of lovely grey tweedy like trousers £24.99
black top, wrap style, slightly see thru £14.99
black jumper £9.99
black camisole (to hide clevage at work) £7.99

Black black black black black, did try on other colours but is just so much easier.

And I didn't check the bank balance first, ha.

The trousers make my bum look v small, recommended.

xx

I really really really really really really mis H&M, but of course I'm very happy for you

Zephyrcat · 12/10/2005 13:08

Brill isn't it?! I went in last week and spent 65.00 on clothes for the kids and they've lived in them all week because they look so cool!!!

I love and hate it in equal measure, always too much on the rails so you have to heave things out to find your size. You need at least a day to do the one in Mcr properly. But I didn't do tooooo bad.

Is there not an aussie equivalent?

I love H&M. We don't have one in harrogate though. It's all Julie Fitmaurice boutiques and the like.

My wardrobe is full of black too. A lady at works keeps telling me off everytime I buy a new black item.

suzywong · 12/10/2005 13:22

no
don't rub it in

auntymandy · 12/10/2005 13:23

OrribleOliveoil · 12/10/2005 13:24

Are you in Perth still (or thereabouts?). My BIL is there and is about to start working for some mines somewhere!! Done a HGV course. Am worried he may start wearing a wifebeater vest and no shoes.

Ah the joys of H&M... is rather like a fancier, slightly more expensive, far less charitable charity shop. Love it.

suzywong · 12/10/2005 13:25

Yes I am still in Perth

Fashion may be behind the rest of the world here but it's not that bad, even for lorry drivers

OrribleOliveoil · 12/10/2005 13:26

He will be working in the back of beyond so I can see the vests and barefeet coming along nicely.

I want a coat as well, they had some nice long ones that looked like mod coats iyswim, mmmmmm.

I need a new winter coat this year. Debating over what type. Haven't seen one I really love yet though.

Must take a trip to Leeds. Harrogate is a pile of poo when it comes to good shops.
