Does anyone put protector etc on patent shoes to stop them getting marked, and does it work?

How about waterproofing your Uggs/Emus?
I bought a pair before they had the protective stuff already on them. Is there something that actually works?

I have seen a few creams to keep patent unmarked but have never tried them

isnt vaseline or baby oil good for patent?

oooh not heard about baby oil - so many uses in one bottle

Will look for the suede protector today and try a bit of baby oil on the heels. Thanks.
