A long time ago I worked at Estee Lauder, Clinque & Prescriptives(?). Once a month you were allowed into the staff shop which was a grotty cupboard piled high with stock to pick and choose then hand over a maximum of 20-25% of the retail cost.
It put me off expensive brands for a long time.
In need of some TLC over the last few years the make up girls at Selfridges and John Lewis have stroked my ego and purse.
Today I recieved a bundle from the Beauty Bible, £325 worth, squashed in a jiffy bag.
£62 of face cream, £42 eye cream....
I'm pleased but it's just not the same without the orange faced girl spouting scientific nonsense
