Weak, fine hair-can anything be done to improve it?

My hair's not great but DD1's (4.5) hair is so very fine, weak and also comes out very easily when pulled (DD2 pulls handfulls out-from the root Shock)

Is there anything I can use on her hair to improve it and is there anything I could increase in her diet to strengthen it? She has quite a balanced diet but maybe there is some mineral or something she is lacking?

She is very girly and loves her hair so I really hope there is something I can do to help it....

anyone?

Seeing the threads about moroccan/amargan oil-would this be a good idea?

Hi Sammy just seen your thread and i would throughly recommend Amargan oil, my hair has been falling out for ages too and since i have been using Amargan it has grown back much stronger. They have just bought out a product called Amargan Advanced Styler it contains Keratin so it strengthens your hair and adds volume, it also has a 3 day hold, there is nothing else like it on the market, give Amargan a go and let me know how you get on. I bought mine off my hairdresser but i have since found a site www.amarganoil.com which you can buy a 10ml tester and they have some great buy1-get 1 free offers, good luck!

You could also give organic raw coconut oil a try - I use it as a hair mask before shampooing once a week and my hair feels much thicker and shinier. You can get it from health food shops - it's solid and white when cool, but once you warm it up it turns into a clear liquid. At least being edible it can't do any harm anyway! I'd worry about using other harsher hair products on a 4.5 year old. Her hair will probably thicken as she gets older anyway!
