i moved yesterday, but all of our stuff ahs gone into storage as our new house not ready yet and we are with relatives.
my makeup and skincare got packed into a box which no one thought to label and i've just been to the storage place and there are so many boxes i wouldn;t even no where to begin to start undoing them.
so i need a cheap and easy to buy kit. I have a superdrug and a small boots, also a waitrose and an asda nearby.
i need foundation, powder, eyeshadow, mascar, eyeliner, lipstick. Then cleanser (i usually use clarins foming gel), moisturiser.
i normally use medium priced brands such as clarins, clinique, benefit, mac and bobbi brown, but having just laid out a small fortune to removal companise, storage companies and referncing fees to letting agencies, i am on a tight budget, especially as i also need to buy school tights for dd and school trousers for ds2 (remind me never to use a removal company that pack for you again i thought it would be easier!)so if i could get all of the above for around £30 that would be great. i know its asking a lot though.
please don;t tell me about fab skincare/make up that costs more as i have bags of the stuff i just can't get to it and i've come to work today with no make up on at all and my hair scraped back as my straightners and hair dryer in the same box somewhere :(

If you're anywhere near a department store go to a Lancome Counter and ask for a sample of whichever foundation suits you best. Their samples last a good week or two in my experience. In fact, go into a couple of different stores and ask, then you'll have 2 samples Wink.

I saw a girl putting on the Rimmel mascara in the red tube on the train the other day and her lashes looked amazing, I am very tempted to give it a try. Failing that, I really like the Max Factor False lash effect or Masterpiece Max - just as good, if not better than MAC in my opinion. (In fact, I get MAC mascaras cheaper than Max Factor on my pro discount and still choose to buy Max Factor). I haven't tried it but their liquid eyeliner looks good, if you use that. Boots currently have a 3 for 2 on selected Max Factor products (and maybe other brands). If you spend a certain amount on products in there you also get a £5 off voucher on some other beauty brands, quite often skin care or No7 who do decent enough eyeshadows for the interim - so maybe buy a few staples on their 3 for 2 offer and then get a voucher and go look for the rest. In fact, if you need more than 3 staples do it in 2 transactions spending the minimum amount to qualify for a voucher to maximise on savings!

Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation (fantastic and honest to god no need for powder)
Max Factor Masterpiece mascara, gorgeous and natural
Max Factor eyeliner - doesnt budge (grey is v nice)
Bourjois Blushers/eyeshadow - amazing quality and really last all day

Our tesco has 1/3 off all these brands this week btw, I got the foundation for an amazing £4.66, really chuffed as its awesome

thanks for the tips, i didn;t think of going to ask for samples.
i made the mistake of buying asda own brand eyeshadow ad pressed powder ad they are really drying. i may just have to have a trip into the town centre for the huge boots and tesco this weekend.

Definitely ask for lots of samples. I once left my makeup bag at uni and went home for a week. Was gutted to realise what I'd done and went to Dior to buy emergency foundation, planning to cadge everything else from my sister. When I told the assistant what I'd done, she sent me off with a bag full of testers (unused ones!) and samples and I was all set!
