Any By Terry users?

I got this creme de rose at Christmas and it's already almost gone. I do like it - it feels lovely on and is good under makeup (I'm using this foundation and this touche veloutee) but it seems like a lot of money to be gone so quickly. I am not slathering it on and am only using it in the morning.

The foundation is the best colour match I've ever found but I'm not impressed enough for the price I don't think.

Anyway, I need to get some more moisturiser. Shall I stick with the creme de rose or any suggestions for something else nice?

I have clear skin but it is a bit dehydrated with wrinkles starting and damage caused by years of heavy smoking. I am 34.

TIA

No suggestions really re moisturiser. I used Liz Earle for a few years and it was fine. Got a Lancome moisturiser last time as I'd Boots points.

I do, however, use the same foundation and the Touché Veloutee. I love the foundation and will buy again but I've a feeling that after only 6-8 weeks the Touché V is almost finished (and I don't use a full press by any means) which is really disappointing as it makes it really a bit overpriced IMO.

I love By Terry the cream blush in the bottle - Rose de Rose I think. Makes skin look so smooth and is great for photos.

been looking at this range and quite tempted by a few of the things available..

Is it nice and do you notice a difference..? esp creams..?

Have only used their eyeshadow as it was the only brand where I could find a light grey eyeshadow that wasn't too silver looking or too sparkly looking. The pigmentation is good but it is starting to crumble in the pot a bit. Worth £22 for the size of it? Probably not.

I tested the By Terry foundation on my hand and ca nswear it felt identical to Clinique Repair Wear.

I love By Terry, but have not really tried the skincare as opposed to make-up yet. Intend to do so when my present face creams used up. Their Baume de Rose for lips is unbeatable, though, IMO.

I have the lip treatment and agree it's great. Milky sheen and fixes dry lips v quickly.

I love the face cream. It's easy to apply, sinks in immediately, smells good and feels nice. But I wonder how much else it's done. In a month maybe not so much but at £65+ I expect more. And it's gone after 30odd days wear.

Elemis pro collagen marine is very nice, esp. under foundation. see if you can get a sample.

Try L'Oreal Youth Code. I keep going back to it and for £10 it's worth a go.
Clarins multi jour would be my second choice.

monkeysmama · 02/02/2011 17:23

I used to use Clarins years ago. I will give the other one a try. Thanks for the recommendations.
