Your favourite accessories?

I seem to be lurking here a lot lately in an attempt to update myself & be a bit more stylish.

Having bought a few bits over the past few weeks (scarves, big slides and a couple of belts), I wondered if there was anything else that might excite me that I could try out?

Or if anyone's bought anything nice lately I could have a nose at online & see if I can find something similar in the shops tomorrow (has to be in shops though, cash card not working again & we're waiting for a new one)

scarves, scarves and more scarves.... gotta have one to match everything in my wardrobe!! none to recommend that are in the shops at the moment though, sorry....

also liking my new coat (no pics online of that either) this winter... for years I put up with one practical but ugly coat that had to be worn with anything and everything...now I have a selection and pick one to suit the mood/weather/outfit/occasion.... sometimes can be wearing something quite boring underneath but feel good with a nice good coat over it when I go out....

Erm, have dozens and dozens, but in terms of value for money, a pearl necklace. Goes with everything and makes me look classier than I am!

I had one practical coat until this winter as well, iwilldothis, I now have a fab bright red one that I wear with everything. Might have a look for something else though, I like the idea of a coat for all occasions. & a scarf to go with everything.....dp would kill me there's stuff lurking all over that I've yet to get around to wearing...but I could definately be tempted

Never had a pearl necklace, wonder if I could find a cheap lookey-likey one to try out for a couple of quid

I have a handbag fetish, so I change my handbag probably twice a week dependent on what I am wearing.

madammecholet, I'm in lurve with my new handbag at the mo but do have an extensive collection of those from years ago. Might start collecting buying odd ones again to go with different things

Anyone else got a favourite accessory or anything to tempt me with. I'm trying to be a bit sensible about what I buy but it's nice having a bit of cash saved up and being able to go shopping with it for me, like before the kids

I'm not sure if you'll be keen on my look (verrrry slightly goth/punk mixed with high street!) but I tend to wear a lot of black, mixed with slightly OTT accessories. I've got loads of scarves - Primark & River Island are my favourite places to get scarves.

Earrings, at the minute I'm wearing tiny diamante spiders and a pair of silver robot earrings but I have loads of dangly earrings...to many to describe really.

I love my Links bracelet and wear that a lot, but also have lots of costume jewellery bracelets, haematite stars, silver bangles, black & red beads. Same with long necklaces as well, and a black rose necklace that my best friend bought me for my 30th.

And I wear a lot of hairclips as well, I have a short bob and sometimes clip my fringe back. I usually wear little bow clips (have got black, black & white spots, red and purple) but I've got diamante stars as well as a few others as well.

I paint my nails a lot as well, that always brightens things up :)

I've just bought this bag from Monsoon as well - it's nicer IRL though, more purple!

Saw this in Red magazine today....am in handbag lust ......
