Baby Gifts & Occasion Wear

Hi Ladies,

I have been considering for some time launching a Baby Boutique in my local village.

The two core target markets would be gift buyers who are looking for that special, unique gift for a friend / colleague / or family member's baby. The other target market would be parents who are looking for an outfit for their baby for a special occastion (wedding, party etc).

As part of my research I'd be really keen to get your feedback on where you shop and how much you spend on Baby gifts and special outfits for your little ones.

Does the high street satisfy all of your needs when you are looking for something for a special occasion? What's the maximum you would spend on an outfit for your baby?

When buying baby clothing / accessories as gifts where do you shop? What's the average cost you would spend on a baby gift?

Any feedback would be really useful.

Thank you!

Maybe set up a link to a palletable questionaire? Might get a better response.

So, briefly: Monsoon in sales. Spend up to £20 per party dress in sales. Also but monsoon off ebay (no good to you!)

Would spend similar on my 1 niece but everyone else only £12 or so.

Good luck.

Good idea!

I just wanted some quick anecdotal feedback for my initial research but I will do something more structured and send it round.

Thanks for your comments.
