has anyone bought one ? Considering brown/ blue versions, but not sure which style - any suggestions ?

I would suggest you not buy it.Wink

Sorry OP, but imo they are so OBVIOUSLY boden that it puts me off. Plus i'm not keen on either pattern, shapes ok, but I prefer leather.

Lulumaam · 30/01/2011 18:31

I was looking at them and thought the brown/blue was frumpy and the pink /red was too full on.
v disappointed with the bags this season, got a plain metallic leather bag in the boden sale which i am pleased with. love last years metallic leather satchels but this years satchel is too bulky and just not nice

Meggles76 · 30/01/2011 18:55

Can I suggest that, instead, you take a look at the Orla Kiely website oil cloth bags? Much nicer prints. I just got on for £64 reduced from £120. IMO quality is also better than Boden

I have the spotty satchel from the winter collection and love the style/size. Nice and roomy and lots of useful pockets.

kittya · 30/01/2011 22:43

Dont you find it is pretty stiff though?

willowstar · 30/01/2011 22:59

I bought the pink/red/green one and I love it. It is just about big enough for all the paraphanalia for my 16 month old and my stuff as well. I have had a few compliments on it and I live in an area where most people probably don't know Boden so not really worried about it being recognisable.

I have the blue/brown shopper one and am pretty pleased with it. You can get tons of stuff in it and it is excellent quality. Is also good value for money.

Also have the spotty satchel, and must say it's very useful and I don't find it too stiff at all.

Don't personally think the floral printversione looks any frumpier than Cath Kidston (but then I'm not a fan of CK) and also think Orla Kiely is now very regognisable, predictable, and 'uniform', ie no better in that respect than Boden.

'floral print version' !
