Maybe an add in local co op or newsagent.
Word of mouth- tell your mates to tell their mates.

Ebay if you can be botherd
Ad in local paper.

Google fleece wellies and see what comes up (I'll bet it'll be somethingon Amazon)

Jewelsandgems · 30/01/2011 16:07

wellies are always cold in my experience but yes not good if they are tight. I'd think you would get the best price on ebay?

BikeRunSki · 30/01/2011 17:30

Muckboots are meant to be warm and not tight, althought I have never had them. I wear garden centre wellies and wooly walking socks.

ednurse · 30/01/2011 17:32

I find Hunters tight too and I have slim legs, wear them with leggings or skinny jeans and welly liners (Hunter brand) Just got a pair from Next which are a bit better (but kept the liners)

Try ebay.

PlanetEarth · 30/01/2011 20:35

I have Muckboots and they are so cosy. I don't use thick socks with them even in snow and ice.

rusmum · 31/01/2011 20:42

WHICH MUCKBOOTS? THERE ARE SEVERAL TYPES AND WHAT ARE THEY LIKE FOR SIZING? THINK I AM A BIG 7 GENERALLY

eBay them.

You need to go a size up with Hunters, both DH and I have found this.

PlanetEarth · 31/01/2011 21:12

Mine are Muckboot Company Tynes (riding boots, but they do others including the Derwent). I had to go down a size, but they may have changed the style slightly. Whatever you go for, I'd advise trying to find some you can actually try on. Before I bought these I tried on so many that either pressed on my toes, or going up a size, actually fell off my feet Confused.

hellymelly · 31/01/2011 21:17

Yes,I go up a size with Hunters, and so does my dd.All wellies are freezing unless you get neoprene jobbies so I imagine the muckboots would be nice and warm,I may buy some too!

rusmum · 01/02/2011 20:33

thanks ladies just hope i get a reasonable amount back for Hunters.
