I've been putting off getting one although I love them, but took the plunge today and bought one a bit like this.....(same style, different colour/pattern).

www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33053&storeId=12552&productId=2241870&langId=-1&categoryId=&searchTerm=purpls&pageSize=200

But now I've got it home I don't know what to wear it with as it's freezing, so any tips would be really welcome. Thanks..Smile

I have one very similar - same shop but peacock type pattern - is very nice.

I wear mine with leggings and boots or skinny jeans, plus a cardi.

From what the sales assistant said, it seems that wearing a thin long sleeved top underneath is the done thing, but I would feel daft - so I don't Smile

That's exactly my thoughts! Have the jeans and boots sorted (not quite brave enough for leggings!) but long cardi or 'normal' length?

I would put a thin long sleeved top under it too - and thick tights and boots, and maybe a long skinny scarf

  1. Tights and knee high boots, hip length cardi and cotton scarf
  1. Tights and lace-up brogues, coloured waist length cardi
  1. Grey skinny jeans and ballet flats
  1. Try some leggings, plain black can be flattering, with either length cardi.
  1. Def try layering with thin cotton long sleeved top under, it will look v nice.

Try uniqlo heat tech roll neck (black or a bright contrasting colour) underneath - very thin so no bulk but good thermal properties.
