Permanent hair removal

I get lovely coarse hairs (mainly blonde, a few black) either side of my chin and quite an impressive coarse (blonde) ladytache too. Normally I just whip it all off with my epilator, but for the past year or so I've been getting bad acne on my chin where I've been removing the hairs. Doesn't matter if I wax them, pluck them, thread them or epilate them, I get lovely cheesy whiteheads that don't heal and get sore when the hair comes back, then the cycle continues.

I have no idea about permanent hair removal, I know there are different types but I don't know which would be suitable and effective for use on my chin and tache, especially as 90% of the hairs are blonde. Also I'm worried about the pain factor! Can anyone give me any advice please?

Thanks :)

Laser Hair Removal isn't really Permanent and hair may return. There are companies claiming to have treatment to remove blonde hairs, but I believe most Lasers work on Pigment in the hair follicle. I've recently finished a course of Laser hair removal and so far happy with the results. I no longer have wirey bristles or fluff on my chin and tache area and no more ingrown hairs so no more scarring.

I think the only thing that may work on blonde hairs is Electrolysis.
