FaffTastic · 28/01/2011 23:55

I like Madame by JPG (the new one not his classique perfume in the shape of an hourglass female figure though that is v nice too).

Also like Stella by Stella McCartney, Peony by Stella McCartney, MyQueen my Alexander McQueen, Angel, Chloe.

Angel, MyQueen and Madame are my favourites though.

Megglevache · 29/01/2011 00:05

If you like floral Aqua di Parma Iris Noble or even better AdP Magnolia- amazing!Divine even.

PastaDiva · 29/01/2011 17:43

Ralph Lauren Romance is a beautiful floral.

AimingForSerenity · 29/01/2011 17:47

Try Jo Malone. She does some lovely scents; Vanilla and Anise, Amber and Lavender, Pomegranate Noir and English Pear and Freesia are my favourites.

You can wear them seperately or layer and combine them to develop your own fragrance which is lovely.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 29/01/2011 17:50

Prada Infusion D'Iris
Diptyque Phylosykos

pointydug · 29/01/2011 17:55

I love paul smith's rose too.

I thought I'd like infusion d'iris, sniffed it the other day and it was horribly chemically. Like plastic or something. Could've been my skin, I spose.

Megglevache · 29/01/2011 18:23

Jo Malone- the pomegranate noir is way too earthy and spicey IMO, I am an expert Grin

I think the wild fi and cassis is very coconutty/vanilla ish.

IlsaLund · 29/01/2011 18:55

I usually wear citrus based perfume but at the moment I love Paul Smith's Rose

Megglevache - I had to give my PomNoire away cos it made DH feel ill!

maddy68 · 29/01/2011 18:58

prada - not cheap but fab!

charitygirl · 29/01/2011 19:04

Lolita Lempicka (the original) is very girly in my opinion - possibly too girly for me though am currently considering a purchase - without being boring. Very sweet to start with but gets interesting on the drydown.

wendihouse22 · 29/01/2011 19:06

Love Paul Smith - Rose.

Also, recently got Armani Code. Love it. Very sweet and people keep asking me what it is!!

Emo76 · 29/01/2011 19:09

Try Ralph Lauren - Romance or Chloe, my two fave florals.

Megglevache · 29/01/2011 19:12

Isla NO!!!!!
Isn't that funny, I get nothing but complimented , especially at Christmas (it's quite spicy) and I knew a couple of men who wear it to- I have to say I went through a phase of asking for JM for Birthday's and Christmases and there are lots of the smells that to me are hideous why I chose Jasmine and mint Necarine and fanny blossom I will never know- they made me feel sick!

That Acqua di Parma, though, oh it's something else.

IlsaLund · 29/01/2011 23:17

I know Grin
Poor bugger felt dreadful telling me - I liked it but there are lots of other scents out there.

I haven't smelt the Jasmine and Mint but it sounds quite sickly. I loved JM Tuber Rose but sadly the stopped making it

Megglevache · 30/01/2011 09:49

Yes that is nice as is the Vintage Gardenia but I always ask for a tester bottle now because in my experience if you can still smell your perfume strongly after a few hours it is not for you an dif your dh thinks he's going to hurl & he won't come near you then perhaps it's wise to change too...hmmm or perhaps not Grin.

I've been seduced by the lovely JM shops and very helpful assistants before and ended up with stuff I should never have bought.
