Anyone bought a Biba dress?

My size 12 dress that I've just ordered and received, has a 26 inch waist!
Is their sizing on the small side or have I just got a rogue item?

No, their sizing is on the small size (although that does seem very small). I got a size 12 dress and it's certainly quite snug. I was also in House of Fraser at the weekend and heard the assistant saying the sizing was v. small too. Sad

Thought it was insanely disproportionate!
(bit like Zara where I'm a M or L or XL)

However the dress was reduced from £80 to £12 so I'm keeping it as I can just about zip it up(and shedding some pounds)

Biba

Sizing is ridiculous. As it was cheap I bought a size 14 instead of normal 10-12. Threw away package, bill etc. as it would be large enough but cannot get it over my hips and the waist probably for a wasp.

A 26 inch waist is ridiculous; i'd struggle with that and I'm an 8! I only have one Biba dress and haven't found the sizing remarkable to be honest, although by the sound of it it's me who's got the rogue.

Yes. I had a lovely violet silk halterneck from then, with a gunmetal beaded belt. Zip at the waist was such a bitch to do up though, despite being bigger above and below belt bit. I used to have to lie down, get DH to do that tiny bit and get back up again.
