Foundation: Avon V s Virgin Vie

I need to replace my foundation but refuse to buy VV again (long story)

WHat are their foundations like? And do the colours in the book accurately represent the colour in the tube?!

I really have never got on with Avon make-up very much. How about the Body Shop? They are a pretty good alternative to VV and do similar products.

Oh please can you briefly tell me why no VV? Im going to a party on friday and was considering a foundation! Not a good idea!?

The foundation is great - fallen out with local reps BIG TIME. It's like a bloody cult
