petite trousers - where is best?

Am in need of some more 'grown up' clothes, and haven't really got any smartish trousers as I tend to live in jeans.

Where's good for size 12 trousers (5'2") ?

I love M&Co if there is one near you - they do fab black trousers with a side zip at the moment - completely machine washable in their petite range - you can also go online.

Next is quite good, although I find their fit can vary.

I'd never heard of M&Co but went online and they look good - will definitely be trying.

Thanks v much!

I tend to buy regular length trousers and then have them taken up - that way they will be exact length you need. If you buy from Uniqlo they shorten the trousers for free (think its a 24 hr turnaround time).

TopShop also ave a petite range (can look online)

I haven't bought proper trousers for ages but I used to find Wallis and Precis good for 'classic' types.

I never knew that about Uniqlo!
