Body lotions?

I ve just cleaned out my bathroon from half empty body lotions (do they expire?).
I have quite dry skin and need to stock on a good one, but find that quality varies so much..

Is there one you can recommend? For dry skin/smells nice/sinks in well?

I like Korres Guava but its not always easy to get hold off..

And by the way, do you moisturise your body every day? How often? I am really bad.. once a week is the best I manage (TBH, thinking about it probably less than that!!Sad).. Is that bad?..

I moisturise in the morning (after shower) and just before I go to bed, every day. I use bio oil but before that I used to use Nivea lotion.

Me too, if I'm not physically past it at bedtime!!

Always post shower when skin's a bit damp. Neutrogena Rainbath....that sesame oil one. I like that but the point is to do it after each shower.

Consistent habit is key no matter what you use!

Another Bio Oil fan here. I get it from Fragrancemad.com. where it's about half the price of the High Street.

I like Palmers cocoa butter lotion, cheap, effective and smells wonderfully chocolatey - yum Smile

My favourite is Clarins Moisture Rich body lotion. Rubs in so easily. Not v. cheap but always get it when Clarins have one of their very good gift with purchase offers on.

I love Kiehl's Creme de Corps...used to buy large bottles when I was travelling to the States for work (before becoming SAHM)...not so easy to get hold of in the UK unless you are in a big city or going through Heathrow Terminal 5 anytime soon.

polyhymnia · 27/01/2011 12:34

Yes, that is excellent too. You can get from Space NK, including online.

gingercat12 · 27/01/2011 12:38

I like Nivea for extra dry skin, but E45 can be quite good, too.

The Jo Malone ones are pricey but seem to last a while, smell gorgeous and are super thick but sink in quickly.

polarfox · 27/01/2011 13:42

Thanks guys..
I shall sample them ..

Its obvious that whatever the brand I dont do it often enough- I should step up the beauty regime!!!!!!!

Re:Bio Oil, I didnt even realise people used it for moisterising! Thought it was just for stretch marks Confused!!!

Moisturise every day.

Second Palmers Cocoa Butter -cheap, cheerful and works ... plus smells lovely.

Neutrogena - dry oil is fab and so is their 24 hour, extra rich cream - soaks right in.

Clarins Moisture Rich is fab too.

Elemis do some good ones too ... but a little more pricey.
