Do I need a pramsuit?

Hi
I am due with my first baby in May. On those lists of stuff you get in magazines etc I keep seeing pram suit...

Having looked at them they seem quite thick so I am not sure I will need one for a May baby. I have a footmuff in the pram/buggy, various blankets and a furry sort of liner thing that zips around baby (can you tell this was a gift... I have no idea! Blush ).

Do you think I still need to get a pramsuit or am I a marketing man's dream?!

Thanks!

Not if you have all that other stuff,

I'm due may too and baby has a thin soft coat, footmyuff for pranm and will have blankets. If it were a winter baby then yes. But not for May

even if it's a mega-chilly May pramsuits are a bugger if you're going in and out of shops - layers of easily removable clothes and blankets much easier.

DS is 7 months. I have no idea what a pramsuit is. I think you'll be fine without!

Great thank you - I shall look for a little jacket instead.

Pramsuit/snowsuit would probably bake your DC alive in May - our DS barely wears his now and it's February! You'll probably need one come October though.
