mineral foundation!

yy i know you were all doing it years ago when it was trendy

but i wasn't

mainly cos i am a sceptic

but my avon order arrived and i have put some on and omg it is lovely! it looks like i have NO makeup on (but in a good way of course). i am converted.

I've yet to be converted and don't think I ever will . Will remain a mineral cynic and continue to worship my Tient Innocence foundation.

I got some for DD2's b-day and she has been in raptures about it ever since.

Am a convert to Laura Mercier mineral powder... no more tidemarks at the edges [bsmile]

Me too but Mac minerals. I have convinced myself it's my skin not the makeup it is so natural.

One pot lasted for over 8 months. Was a bit sad that I may have to consider throwing it.

Which Avon one is it? Is it powder or liquid?

I've been looking at them for a while but find Avon foundation a bit heavy usually, this sounds as though it might be good.

it looks scarily dark in the pot but goes on beautifully and kind of vanishes, but my skin looks all smooth and even :)

Oh good Mayor - I bought some from the Body Shop at the weekend and am waiting for it to arrive. Do you wear a primer under it?

yes, is avon primer i am a bit of an avon junkie

i think i might need a bigger brush though, it is a kabuki one but seems a little small...let me know what you think of bodyshop one!

I tried some reccomended on here ages ago called Lilo Lil or something.

I thought it was rubbish & cakey.
