...pubic hair?!!

Had a conversation with a friend who said she'd bought a new conditioner which wasn't suiting her but 'never mind I'll just use it on my pubes instead'. At first I thought it was a joke, but she was deadly serious. I thought she was mad for doing it and she thought I was mad because I'd never even heard of let alone tried it!

Am I missing out on something??

fruitstick · 25/01/2011 07:48

No.

hattymattie · 25/01/2011 08:02

Definitely not - but gave me a good laugh though Grin

Cyb · 25/01/2011 08:04

No, but I do put toothpaste up me chuff for minty freshness

Honeydragon · 25/01/2011 08:05

Cyb, my day has already started out shit... you have just eased the burden somewhat Grin

coldtits · 25/01/2011 08:08

On the subject of toothpaste, I had a near miss the other day with a travel sized tube of Colgate. White tube, red writing, I had thrush ...

Thank goodness my friends the freak and not me then!

Shock

I thought that was one place I didn't have to worry about, despite all the waxing threads.

ViolaTricolor · 25/01/2011 12:00

No! I did once read someone in a magazine saying she conditioned her bush as a way of prepping herself for a hot date. But even she only did it for special occasions.

FindingStuffToChuckOut · 25/01/2011 12:11

I do occasionally, or if like your friend I've brought some duff conditioner. Waste not want not Grin

BitOfFun · 25/01/2011 12:13

You can use conditioner instead of shaving foam, apparently.

lubeybooby · 25/01/2011 12:35

Blush I do, but I have very nice soft non curly pubes and so it does actually make a difference to mine. Oh god kill me now.

greentig3r · 25/01/2011 12:38

Yes. It makes them soft. And also good to shave with as Bitoffun says.

ViolaTricolor · 25/01/2011 12:40

I do use it shave with, v. handy.

FindingStuffToChuckOut · 25/01/2011 14:12

I shave with conditioner too - works very well esp if like me you are inclined to forget to moisturise your legs afterwards Shock

FaffTastic · 25/01/2011 18:51

No, but bizarely enough I put some on them on Sunday night (put too much conditioner out and didn't want it to go to waste). Can't say I noticed any difference and I won't bother again. I think really silky pubes would be a bit odd anyway Hmm

jamaisjedors · 25/01/2011 19:21

I have been known to... Blush

AtYourCervix · 25/01/2011 19:26

had i thought about conditioning my foof and making it all silky the gum might not have stuck so firmly.

MissBeehiving · 25/01/2011 19:33

Got to be better than a vajazzle.

ViolaTricolor · 25/01/2011 20:13

Yours was a cautionary tale, AtYourCervix. Perhaps once you get some regrowth you could treat it to a weekly deep conditioning treatment to insure against future trouble.

mathanxiety · 26/01/2011 04:37

BoF I use it for shaving and instead of body wash too. Most kinds have glycerin.

AtYourCervix, that was tmi and not enough i all at the same time Smile

Chandon · 26/01/2011 07:51

I once read about it in "Sushi for beginners" by Marianne Keyes. The main character does this, apparently Grin . somehow it is the only thing I remember from the book Grin

Shhhh · 26/01/2011 10:13

lol at this thread Grin

prettyfly1 · 26/01/2011 12:55

snort - perhaps I shall try it....
