Covering greys :(

Anybody got a good recommendation for which is really the best dye for covering greys (white - yikes!) hairs. They all say they have great coverage, but I've tried a couple and i seem to be seeing my roots after only two weeks. How depressing.

Advice anyone please.

Have you seen the "How to Cover Grey Hair" topic? I don't yet have to do roots, by the way.

You are seeing your roots because they are growing out of your head at the rate of half an inch a month (or whatever the hair growth rate is). You just have to touch up roots regularly.

I find regrowth is best hidden by semi-permanents and highlights. A permanent dye just emphasises the regrowth as it comes through.

Okay thanks I'll look at 'how to cover gray'. Farside, I get your point, yes it's growth, but it's more than that too, the dye is fading, my hair ain't growing that quick!!!
