Crumpled skirt...

Just bought this skirt and it arrived packed in a too small plastic bag. Consequently, it is creased to buggery and looks like it came from a charity shop. I own many things from charity shops, but I didn't pay £45 bloody quid for them...

Shouldn't they have packed it so it didn't get creased?

Am I being stroppy because I've had a bad day?

Or would it piss you off too?

It would piss me off a little tiny bit. I like to wear and go with new stuff, rather than have to faff about with the iron.

I find that ASOS do tend to fold an item into the smallest size possible and squeeze it into the plastic wrapping.

I don't think you could pack that skirt so it wouldn't get creased tbh. It is made of cotton and quite full so would be murder to fold up easily. Give it a quick iron and see what it looks like. It does piss me off to have stuff badly packaged though! [bangry]

Yes it would piss me off too. Although agree with Dexter that it does look like an item which would be difficult to package without creasing. Having said that, I have received stuff in hanging/suit carrier type things when sent by courier - although not from ASOS.

The same goes for stores where assistants just half screw up/half heartedly fold your items and then shove them into a bag before charging you an arm and a leg for them. I'm afraid at times I have gotten quite arsey and removed said items from bags and refolded properly before paying, chuntering to self like demented old dear.........

I just got a £200 dress from Net a Porter, in a lovely box, loads of ribbon, etc etc, but the actual dress when taken out looked like it had been sat on by a rhino, scrunched my monkey's and bunged at the bottom of a pile of sale items at H&M.

Then picked up, balled up, and placed in lovely tissue in a box.

Nice dress tho. Just letting it hang for a few days before I press it.

:)

The last thing I received from ASOS was a tiny denim skirt packed in a box I could have used as a spare room - it was ridiculously oversized!!
