I saw this highly recommended on How to Look Good Naked. Anyone used it? Is it any good? Do primers really make a difference?
Thanks in advance

make up last longer and it makes you skin feel gorgeous. ask at the smashbox counter and they'll give you a sample.

I love Smashbox Primer - a lovely product to use. I bought it to use for my wedding because I was getting married in a hot country - and thought it worked v well for my oft v shiny skin (which was usually would totally melt off in the heat).

Do you put it straight onto the skin before applying foundation or mix it with your foundation and then apply?

moaningminniewhingesagain · 24/01/2011 05:53

It goes on after moisturiser but before foundation, helps your base to go on smoothly/nicely. I also used it on my wedding day and liked it.

FaffTastic · 24/01/2011 19:12

I love Primers and use one daily but I didn't like the smashbox one tbh. It started to come off in 'bits' iykwim when I put my foundation on over it even though I put the foundation on straight away after.

I love Chanel Base Perfection - always end up going back to it everytime I try others.

Debenhams sell it(free home delivery or into store) and also if you or any one you know off on their jollies, concessions at most airports.Great stuff!

Vicky08 · 24/01/2011 22:13

Thanks for all of the replys, I can't wait to try it now. I've seen that there's a green one and a normal one. What's the difference?

The green one is a colour corrector , so if you have red tones or "high"colouring will even them out. Can't see it under the fab foundation, can build it up to get the tone you want so, good skin day-sheer, bad spotty day build it up, still v natural looking.

Vicky08 · 26/01/2011 08:56

Thanks for clearing that up for me Fifa, now I just have to get out and buy it.
