...for a dress over leggings?

I am mid 30s and size 10 and nearly 5'11 so dresses tend to be shorter on me. Bought a tea dress today but it is quite short I def wouldn't wear it with bare legs but is shorter ok if u have leggings on? It is mid thigh maybe a bit shorter. Don't want to look like mutton dressed as lamb.

My mum would say if u think its too short it probably is... what do u think?

If you're wearing with leggings, as long as it covers your bum its OK imo. Mid-thigh is fine!

I woudl wear with thick tights not leggings

Do you hvae good pins?

Huh. Older lady at my office slagged me off for wearing a dress with leggings and boots - she asked if I was "going back to your teenage years with that miniskirt ..."

Now at work I am more likely to wear flesh coloured tights and shoes under leggings.

I'm 46. Miniskirts were not "in" when I was a teenager.

Thanks, well i wore it yesterday with leggings and boots and DH told me i looked "very trendy"...praise indeed.

Need to get some proper opaques like 100 denier as didn't feel any of mine were quite opague enough if you know what i mean.

If you're 5'11'' and a size 10 then you've probably got great legs, so go for it. So long as your bum's covered you're fine! (I'm 5'11'' and size 12, and I seem to get away with it...!)
