shampoo/conditioner that makes my hair smell nice

I can't seem to find a shampoo or conditioner that leaves my hair smelling nice. Lots smell nice in the bottle but when I wash my hair with them that nice smell doesn't come through on my hair.
Please recommend me some that will leave my hair looking and smelling good.

Thanks in advance

Vicky

Try Paul Mitchell's Tea tree, lavender & mint shampoo and conditioner. Not only it smells great on hair, imho it has the best balance between cleaning/moisturizing Smile

Most of the Aussie shampoos and cond's imo.

Aveda Shampure is £££ but it smells so nice and lingers in your hair. Also a bottle lasts a long time so it doesn't work out too expensive overall.

The L'Occitane shampoo and conditioner leaves my DCs hair smelling lovely for days.

Thanks for all of those recomendations, I'm going to write them down and when I go shopping later I'll see which I can find. I don't mind spending a bit of money if it means I'm going to get the results I want.

Don't use it myself but have in the past and, as another poster said, the Aussie range leaves a nice smell in your hair even after its dried.
