Tweezers

DH has kindly bent my Tweezermans by dropping them points down on the floor. Are there any slanted tweezers that are as good and cheaper than the £20 ish mark? Sob!

yes, Boots own ones are just as pointy and cheaper.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 21/01/2011 21:50

Fab thanks!

Ooh sorry, I had Boots ones and didn't like them at all but both DD and I agree that Ruby & Millie ones are ace (they're about £13 I think)

KenDoddsDadsDog · 21/01/2011 21:54

Is that in Boots too?

What about the dinky Tweezermans? I'm sure I didn't pay more than £13 for mine, they are about four inches long.

Ask DH to pay for a new pair, his mistake!

SharonGless · 21/01/2011 21:55

Boots had mini tweezermans for £11 - bargain. I wouldn't use anything else now

RiojaLover75 · 21/01/2011 21:57

Ah Sharon x-post, good taste too Grin

moondog · 21/01/2011 21:58

Ruby & Milly better than Tweezermans.

Jenda · 21/01/2011 22:18

This may be frowned upon but I have a really good pair from Primark, got a light on them too, ooh!

Learning2Knit · 21/01/2011 22:20

I bought some la-tweez for a friend for her birthday and she says they are brilliant. They have a small built in light and carry case! Sounds naff but she loves the light, she can see without her glasses! They were about £16 in a store, havnt looked online but probably cheaper.

I thought Tweezerman did lifetime guarantee, so you can have products purchased from them repaired.

BlooKangaWonders · 22/01/2011 04:33

My Body shop ones are literally decades old and still the best I've had, and have tried plenty of others as I keep misplacing the originals... Always delighted when I finally find the Body shop ones :)

Thanks all, going to have a look around. I know there is a tweezerman guarantee to sharpen them so will have a look. Think I had better buy some spares though as well!
