Black tie shoes and bag to go with raspberry dress?

I have an industry black tie dinner to go to and have purchased a raspberry silk sleeveless drape dress from Whistles to wear to it which I am really pleased with (good colour on me, sleeveless but hides wobbly arms a bit, can't find a link to it as it was in the sale and seems to have sold out...anyway...)

I am thinking that black shoes and clutch are a bit dull - and don't want to go with nude shoes as I feel that will look a bit "weddingy". I am thinking maybe silver though don't want to look like a footballers wife and can manage a mid heel but not skyscrapers. I am 5ft9 size 16 if that helps with bag scale...

This post is really rambling now, but just to say that I am currently on maternity leave and this is my first big work event before I go back in March. So I want to look and feel as good as I can.

What would you go for?

I would do nude, I do often look like a wedding guest though.

I am liking the dull metallic court shoes idea. I would do nude if it was a wedding jenandberry!

I would go clashy and wear coral/orange shoes or here or cheaper still! and bag
